Pwllheli is the unofficial capital town of the Llyn Peninsula. The town has the only weekly market on the peninsula, which is held every Wednesday on Y Maes in thecentre of the town. |
| The town centre has a wide variety of small shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, supermarkets and other services. Pwllheli also boasts a large modern Marina giving great access to Cardigan Bay. |

Probably the most famous resort on the Llŷn Peninsula is Abersoch. The village lies towards the southern tip of the peninsula, and it's bay is sheltered by St. Tudwal's Islands. |
| The village has two beaches, both east facing, separated by the Penbennar headland, with the main beach to the south and the harbour beach to the north. |

The town's long high street is ideal for a wander and there are plenty of different and interesting shops to browse as well as small cafes and restaurants for when you need to recharge! |
| The quayside is very picturesque and has joined in with Pwllheli and Abersoch with a number of boat yards and chandlery shops located along the side of the channel out towards Borth-y-Gest. |
